Die Straßenbahn der Balkanländer rollt direkt aus Grenoble an und hat im Gepäcknetz nichts Geringeres als einen Vulkan. Die Musik lehnt sich nach wie vor an den Klezmer-Melodien und an die traditionellen Stücken von Zentral Europa. Ihr besonderes Gepräge hat sie aber erst durch die unbändige Entdeckungsfreude und Kreativität der Musiker erhalten.

The streetcar of the Balkan countries rolls in directly from Grenoble and has nothing less than a volcano in its luggage net. The music is still based on klezmer melodies and traditional pieces from Central Europe. But it is the musicians’ unbridled joy of discovery and creativity that has given it its special character.

Il tram dei Paesi balcanici arriva direttamente da Grenoble e ha nel suo bagagliaio niente meno che un vulcano. La musica si basa ancora sulle melodie klezmer e sui brani tradizionali dell’Europa centrale. Tuttavia, ha acquisito il suo carattere speciale solo grazie alla gioia sfrenata dei musicisti per la scoperta e la creatività.
